Securities and Exchange Board of India (“ SEBI”) passed an Interim Order dated February 11, 2025 (“Interim Order ”) in the matter of LS Industries Limited (“LSIL”/“Company”), a company listed on the BSE Ltd. (“ BSE”), as well as its promoter and certain shareholders (Noticees listed above), who were prima facie observed to be part of a manipulative scheme designed to defraud investors. It was prima facie found that Noticees had violated provisions of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (“ SEBI Act ”) and SEBI (Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices Relating to Securities Markets) Regulations, 2003 (“PFUTP Regulations”).
